Welcome to my site. My name is Amy Marie Adams a/k/a Amy Adams and I am a visual artist and creative entrepreneur living and working out of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. When creating visual arts I often start with a traditional method like drawing or painting and sometimes explore the idea further with technology. If you are interested in collaborating on a project, please contact me here. If you would like to see a page of some random works of mine in no particular order, click here.

HitRecord a collaborative art community that is in reality a production company. I wrote a little about it here. My first visual submissions are of Kiki and Nerica (my rescue pups) re-imagined as humans – you can check out my profile at
Progressive Arts – In addition to creating my own art or working periodically on some commercial design projects, I am currently working with a couple of other artists to develop a model that is steeped not in tradition, but rather one that embraces the new paradigm to connect people with art in their daily lives using Human Centered Design and Place-making principles because art matters. Please follow our Progressive Arts facebook page here or check out our Progressive Arts website here.

Extinct & Endangered – Currently I am creating some studies for a series entitled “Extinct & Endangered.” Click on any of the images below to enlarge them or learn more when you click on the button below:
The Sin-Eater – In August 2015, The Sin-eater website launched, a virtual living memorial that invites people to participate in the creation of it. The Sin-Eater asks participants to literally feed the virtual Sin-Eater with art that they have made in remembrance of important people in their lives that have died through taboo methods. A series of ‘assignments’ will posted over a 2 year period. The first assignment is available just click on the button below:

This project is for EVERYONE you don’t need to be an artist or have studied art, only to have loved someone that was lost.
Experiments with Deepdream – The following images are a few of the #deepdream experiments where some of my original paintings and drawings – photos of them are run through basically a filter. I will be writing an article about it soon.

Art Matters

The short and long versions of my why art matters videos.

The original marmot video was posted by and then dubbed screams which are shown at the end of this vid by please visit and like their pages.

The real story here is that art matters and it’s evolving – this video was made for a storytelling class to help me tell people why we need art centers – not the old stodgey institutions but spaces for artists and people in the community – connecting art with the public and artists with the community – all images shown in this video are used under fair use – actually most of the footage is owned by me and most of the art shown is under the CC0 license with the exception of a very brief excerpt from an episode from the BBC’s Doctor Who which features Vincent Van Gogh – hope you enjoy it!
